Why can I save hours for later?
Being able to save hours gives you more flexibility and better value from your subscription.
We know that listening habits can vary from month to month. Some months you read and listen a lot, other months life gets in the way.
If you are using a free trial, unused hours are not saved and do not carry over to the next month.
If you have a monthly subscription, unused hours from your monthly plan are saved as saved hours on My Pages, so you don’t lose time you’ve already paid for. Your saved hours remain and are ready whenever you want to listen again.
What are unused hours?
Unused hours are hours from your plan that you did not use during the current period.
For free trial users, these hours are called unused hours and are not saved for later use.
For monthly subscription users, unused hours from your monthly plan are saved as saved hours, so you can use them later in addition to your regular monthly hours.
What happens to unused hours?
For free trial users, unused hours disappear at the end of the trial period and do not carry over.
For monthly subscriptions, unused hours from previous months are saved as saved hours and remain on My Pages.
The number of saved hours you can have depends on your subscription and is shown on My Pages. If you reach that limit, no additional hours are saved.
For example: If your subscription includes 30 hours per month, you can save up to 60 hours.
Each month, your regular plan hours are used first. When those run out, your saved hours from previous months are automatically used.
Saved hours from a monthly subscription can be saved for up to 12 months, as long as your subscription is active.
Unused hours during a free trial expire when the trial ends and are not saved.
If you cancel your subscription, your saved hours will no longer be available.
If you switch to a subscription that does not allow you to save hours, your saved hours will be paused.
If you later switch back to a time-limited subscription that includes saved hours, your paused hours will become available again.
