Your hours are renewed with each payment and shared between all profiles.
Audio books
If you listen to an audiobook for one hour, one hour is deducted from your available listening time for that period. This applies whether you are streaming or using offline mode.
If you change the playback speed, the time deducted is adjusted accordingly. For example, if you listen at 2x speed for one hour, it counts as two hours of listening time. Similarly, if you reduce the speed to 0.5x, one hour of listening will only count as 30 minutes of your available time.
Rewinding or skipping between sections does not affect your listening time.
E-books
For e-books, a certain number of characters counts as one hour. This means that it doesn't matter how fast or slow you choose to read. Scrolling quickly or skipping between chapters also does not count as time.
If you read or listen to the same segment of a book more than once in the same period, time is only counted the first time.
Once you have reached your time limit for the period, you will no longer be able to listen to or read books, even those you have already read or listened to. To continue, you will need to wait until your hours are renewed with your next payment or start your next payment cycle early.
