-Check that your internet connection is active
-Check that you have allowed downloads in your app settings. These can be found from the profile page under the headings "Downloads" and "Download settings".
-Check that you have enough storage space on your device
-Make sure the download is complete before switching to offline mode. You can check this in "My library"
> If you see a symbol that looks like a brightly colored arrow, the book is downloaded.
> If you see a moving circle, the book is being downloaded.
> If you see a light-colored arrow, the book is not downloading.
If everything above seems to be in order, try deleting the app completely from your device, restarting your device and then reinstalling the app.
